JDW Electric LLC is a father-daughter business in Kansas City, MO. Jacquelyn Williams is the owner and Jeff Williams is the operator. Jeff is a veteran of the United States Navy. Williams served as a nuclear reactor operator on a fast-attack submarine. His duties required extensive knowledge of commercial electronic, electrical and mechanical systems and how they integrate with one another.
After his honorable service in the Navy ended with three sea service deployment ribbons, Williams continued work in the field as an employee for other companies to further his experience, specifically in commercial applications. Soon, Williams began working at JDW Electric, owned by his daughter, to service the electrical and electronic needs of businesses throughout the Kansas City, MO area.
Now, many commercial clients rely on JDW Electric to handle a range of specific electronic and electrical contracting services. JDW performs installation and general service of fire alarm & fire suppression systems, security systems, Bogen (paging) systems, audio/visual equipment, speakers and other foundational electrical systems.
Jeff Williams is a licensed master electrician with a level 3 certification for fire alarm systems through NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies). Additionally, Williams is an IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) local union #124 inside wireman.
Williams has become a staple in the community in his own right, serving as a deacon at a local church and serving on a ministry for a local nursing home, where he helps residents maintain their powerchairs, scooters, and walkers.
